dc.description.abstract | Soundproof Wall Panels are products based on the manufacture of wall bricks to reduce the frequency of distorted sound between two different spaces. In addition, with the reduction of sand material and replaced with waste material that is discarded coconut fiber is easier to obtain compared to other materials. Coconut fiber also has a hollow space and is cheap in the market so the selection of head fiber is a good choice to produce this product. In addition, the objective of the product is the effectiveness of coconut fiber in producing soundproof wall panels. Next, to determine the sound level can be refracted to meet the standard specification level the minimum value of sound frequency must be more than 20Db. The ratio for producing normal wall panels is 1: 8, and 1: 5: 3 for (30% coconut fiber). The size of the mold to fit this product is according to the standard which is 215 mm x 65mm x 102.5mm. Through this study, the main factor to test the percentage of sound density that can be sealed between the panel space that has a coconut shell and a soundproof round hole in the middle of the panel. In addition, these panels are also tested with fireproof resistance. Where the panel will be burned in a gradual temperature range until it reaches the maximum level. Finally, compared to ordinary hearing panels, soundproof panels can be obtained more easily and materials such as cement and sand can also be reduced and indirectly we have reduced waste by recycling unused coconut fiber | en_US |
